Warranty Coverage and Duration
The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use. If a defect occurs, VERDI will either repair or replace the part using new or reconditioned OEM parts.
The coverage lasts for the following durations from the date of original retail delivery:
- Chassis and Frame: 10 years
- Lithium Battery: 5 years
- Motor and Controller: 2 years
- Other Major Parts and Components: 2 years
What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
The warranty explicitly excludes the following:
- Routine maintenance and normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic deterioration from weather, sun, salt, or improper storage.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external events like accidents or vandalism.
- Labor and service costs (which are the responsibility of the dealer).
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
Actions That Can Void the Warranty
The warranty may be entirely voided if the vehicle shows evidence of:
- Neglected maintenance.
- Installation of non-OEM components or unapproved parts/accessories.
- Unauthorized repairs or unapproved electrical modifications.
- Tampering with or removing the VIN, serial numbers, or certification labels.
