Sharky’s Golf Cart Rentals provides premium electric and gas street-legal golf carts for vacationers and locals across Florida’s Gulf Coast. Our fleet includes brand new 2025 electric models equipped with lithium batteries, marine-grade Bluetooth sound systems, and diamond-stitched seating for a smooth, quiet ride. For guests without charging access, we offer refurbished gas carts with marine-grade Bluetooth sound system, diamond-stitched seating and a range of over 150 miles on tank.
We offer free delivery on 3-day or longer rentals in Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and Siesta Key.
Rentals are based on nights, not days, and our delivery and pickup process is designed for convenience. All carts are fully street legal and come with required safety features.

If charging is not an option at your location, our gas-powered carts are a better alternative. These are refurbished 2022 Club Car Villagers featuring:

- Premium low-profile wheels and tires
- Up to 150 miles on a full tank
The Difference Between Gas & Electric Golf Carts
Electric carts offer smoother acceleration, quieter operation, and easier handling. They do not produce exhaust fumes and provide a more enjoyable ride overall. Gas carts are best for short-term rentals or when charging access is limited. For day rentals or off-grid locations, gas may be the more practical option.
Rules & Regulations For Renting A Street Legal Golf Cart From Sharky’s
- All renters and drivers must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (21 is our minimum age for insurance, not a state law).
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times by all passengers.
- Golf carts/LSVs must only be driven on roads where the posted speed limit is 35 MPH or less.
- No distracted driving or drinking and driving.
- Do not drive on sidewalks, bike paths, beaches, or utility paths.
- Any children requiring a 5-point harness car seat in a vehicle must use one on the golf cart.
- No lap children are allowed.
- The number of passengers must not exceed the number of seats on your cart (small children count as one full-size passenger):
- Follow all regular traffic rules—golf carts are motor vehicles.
How Our Delivery & Pickup Works
Our rentals are counted by nights, not calendar days. The day your cart is delivered counts as Night One, and pickup happens on the morning after your final night.
Example: 3-Day Rental
- Monday (Night 1): Cart is delivered between 9 AM and 4 PM
- Tuesday (Night 2)
- Wednesday (Night 3)
- Thursday: Cart is picked up starting at 6 AM
Example: 7-Day Rental
- Saturday (Night 1): Cart is delivered between 9 AM and 4 PM
- Sunday (Night 2)
- Monday (Night 3)
- Tuesday (Night 4)
- Wednesday (Night 5)
- Thursday (Night 6)
- Friday (Night 7)
- Saturday: Cart is picked up starting at 6 AM
